Hello Mary...I don't blame you for not wanting to go out again. This bitter cold is getting so hard to deal with. My Fibromyalgia is so flared all the time!! I know there are lots of us having flare ups. YES....I want SPRING!!!
How much longer until you can get your computer back? I hope it is soon!!
I have a NOOK....it was a gift from a Secret Santa. There are so many free books to get on there. I need to spend sometime going through Barnes and Nobles site and see what's new.
Have a beautiful day...keep warm!!!!
Love and hugs to you....connie d
Good morning Carla and Trish and those to follow......
Carla.....I hope you feel better soon. Sorry you caught a bug.
Sorry about your cousin's truck...I can't blame him for being upset...especially because it is new!!!
Grocery shopping is a pain....I had to do mine yesterday too. I hope you got everything you needed.
Some day I will get a Keurig. I hate making pots of coffee!! Can you buy just decaf for the Keurig??? I can't drink regular coffee.
Trish... I have been thinking about you a lot . I pray all is getting settled with your mom. I am still praying for all of you!
As for me...insomnia again last night...I was up until 5 AM again. I slept until 10 AM. I am tired already!!
My little Gracie has pneumonia...my daughter sent me a picture of Gracie doing the nebulizer ....Gracie say's just like Nana!! Gracie sent a message saying she has an inhaler and medicine like me too. I love that she likes to be like me....but not like this!! I wish I was there to take care of her!!
Nothing much planned for today. I ate some yogurt w/ granola and then a protein bar for breakfast. I am out of my protein drinks. Hopefully I can get some today. Breakfast isn't my favorite meal. I prefer to eat it for lunch or dinner!
Praying more for our sweet Vickie and Butch. I hope we hear from her today. They have to get something to control Butch's pain. I feel so bad for him. God Bless them both.
Wishing you all a good day!! God Bless.
Prayers for our sweet OFF Family and their families.
Loads of love and bunches of hugs to you all.....connie d
Hi everyone, happy Thursday!
Carla, I see and hear the reports of the cold in FL. I am so sorry you're cold! If it makes you feel better - up here its soul-sucking bone breaking cold! 7 below zero at my house this morning and I felt it as I walked to my local train station to ride to work. Not fun!
Connie, I'm so sorry about your granddaughter having pneumonia, though thinking she was like you brought a smile. She sounds adorable. Hope your Fibro is somewhat manageable today.
Trish and Eileen, you are lovely daughters. Seriously. I love and miss my mother every day - she went home to the Lord 4 years ago now. I am glad I spent all that time with her helping with her care and wish I had spent even more time. So God Bless you - you won't regret a moment of your effort in the years to come! Enjoy what you can and remember to be good to yourself.
Mary, way to go on staying on plan! Not easy when you're basically snowbound!
Vickie, my heart breaks for you with every post I read. You do need a break so I am glad you're starting to consider doing some things to get rest. As for hospice, it may be helpful to call one - the one in Butch's hometown - just to talk with them. They are there for you, too - and getting to know them may be of help to you when it's time to make a decision on what to do.
Cindy and Jo, such wonderful advice for Vickie. Sounds like you speak from experience.
OK well I had to write this quickly while I had a few minutes of quiet at work, but I have to get back to things now. Stay warm, stay strong, stay well everyone! Greetings and apologies as to anyone I missed!
Ciao (not chow!)

Hi Christine....I wish the pain was better too...this cold bitter weather is killing me!!
I am worried about my granddaughter, Gracie. I don't like my grandchildren sick. She is such a sweetie. Gracie is 8 years old....the youngest of my grandchildren. I always worry so much because she lives 5 hours away. I can't drive because of health reasons. In fact I gave my car to her brother, Nic. He will be 22 in April. Nic is the one with cancer, had it since he was almost 3. My oldest granddaughter, Kyleigh will be 23 in April. Her sister, Amanda will be 21 in April. Their little brother, Lucas is 16. They all live about 1.5 hours away. They are all growing up so fast!!! I can't imagine my life without them! I have two daughters, Jamie (Megan her wife) and Carrie (Greg her husband) . I love my little family!!!!!!
Love and many hugs to you....connie d
Hello sistas, we are back in the hospital again. I brought Butch to tthe er around 5a.m. He just kept throwing up all night long. We are being admitted at some point today. Waiting on a room assignment. Had an mri that took an hour and a half! Don't know the results yet. They finally have his nausea under control. Pain is better now too. And he has a urinary tract infection so he's on anti biotic as well. Obviously no chemo today. I will post more as we learn it. I only have my phone here. Posting is hard. Love you all.
Vickie....I am so glad he was admitted. I don't know why they can't give him stronger meds at home. Keep after them. Butch needs to be comfortable....you need him to be comfortable.
I know posting is hard....I would do it for you. I love you Vickie!!!
Lots of love and billions of hugs and prayers too...connie d
Hello all,
Horriby cold here. -20 to -30 windchill. I am hunkered down under blankets. Suppose to be -11 without windchill tomorrow. I am still goibg to try to make it to the gym anyway and water aerobics.
Carla sorry you are not feeling well. I had the crappie runny noed an ughs for two weeks.
Vickie, i hope that they are able to help with Butch's pain and nausea.
We had a leak in our downstairs bathroom toilet. Had to have someone in three days in a row. Finally got it fixed. Then the battery in our smoke alarm died at about 11:30 last night. It chrips about ever 45 seconds... i changed that immediately this morning. It just about drove me nuts. Oh well, sometimes i don't have that far to go.
Hope you are staying as warm as possible and please stay well.
Blessings,
Francine
